The paella we were served yesterday was one of the bests I have tried during the 10 years I ve been living in Spain. It will go down in my Spanish gastro experience history as THE paella.

They brought my perfectly cooked turbot....but forgot the cu... read more Just a perfect meal overlooking the marina. Service, by a young, friendly crew was a bit slap dash. They brought my perfectly cooked turbot....but forgot the cutlery. Didn’t notice until I called a waiter who laughed and went off to fetch it. Frankly, the incident only added to the laid back charm of the place. As restaurants reopen here I imagine seasonal staff, still unable to get here, are being replaced by untrained locals who, grateful for jobs, make up for lack of training with enthusiasm and ready smiles, though concealed behind the mandatory masks. Food is just sublime and, based at the marina, on the other side of Palamos from the main harbour, it’s far less crowded with much less traffic noise. Great place for a relaxing, long Lunch. And my turbot? Plucked from the ocean just hours before I ate it. Do visit. You won’t be disappointed.

The menu is fine and the food quality acceptable. The value for money could definitely be improved. I recommend the offered menu instead of picking some courses from the menu.
