Description

Nestled near the town church, this midrange eatery earns praise for bold, affordable dishes—from pizza and kare-kare to must-try nachos and halo-halo—and a refreshed, roomy interior. Diners cite a broad menu and standout shakes. However, hospitality and upkeep undermine the experience: inconsistent, slow service, reservation mishandling, limited parking, and an unkempt pool/grounds with wear and mosquitoes leave a mixed impression. Worth visiting for the food, but expect service delays and spotty cleanliness.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but the service leaves much to be desired. The wait time for our meals felt like an eternity, and the staff were rude and seemed unfamiliar with proper service protocols. They also struggled with managing reservations. If it weren't for the delicious food, I'm not sure anyone would bother dining here. I hope the management can address these issues.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local who praised the food, so we were excited to give it a try. After placing our order, we settled in and waited, assuming that since it was busy, our food would arrive in about 30 minutes. However, half an hour passed with no food. We inquired about our order and, 15 minutes later, noticed that two tables who had arrived 20 minutes after us were already being served their meals. We followed up again, and an hour had gone by. The staff apologized and assured us our food would be coming soon. We waited another 30 minutes, only to see another table that had come in much later receiving their food. That was the breaking point for us, and we decided to leave. It was an unfortunate way to start our first night in town, and we felt thoroughly disappointed. We would not recommend this place.

The new location could use some improvements. It's an old resort, and the pool has dirty water filled with fish and tadpoles. There are also quite a few mosquitoes buzzing around. Most of the chairs and tables are worn out, and I noticed some stains on the chairs and the stage carpet. Despite the unappealing atmosphere, the food is fantastic! I absolutely loved the aroma of the pizza when it arrived at our table. The Kare-Kare is delicious, even without the Bagoong. My son enjoyed his Tempura Shrimp rice meal, and we really liked the Cookies and Cream shake along with the cucumber lemonade.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The only downside is the parking situation. However, since it's located near the church, you can easily park in front of the church and it's just a short walk from there.
