Not sure the cleanest place, but it's in a really old building. The food is quite delicious. Prices and selection are quite standard, see menu photos in my review. I've been here for years and never had a problem. The order is almost always dead (except if you want to have the egg roll on the side, instead of squeezed into the rice and they are routinely forgotten). What Kelsey Stark doesn't like about Golden Crown:
We ordered take out, and when we ate our food it was absolutely disgusting. There was no filling in the crab rangoon orders, they tasted very stale. I ordered the chicken teriyaki combo meal and i had a heaping amount of this stringy vegetable and barely any chicken. It tasted very bland. Very friendly people with great food at a great price. My only place for fresh Chinese purchases.
I recommend you go anywhere else to eat but here! I asked for fried rice with my meal and got upcharged, then didn't receive my rice. I asked for sweet and sour chicken and didn't get sweet and sour sauce! Worst business mad customer service. They want to give me a discount next time I come in. Why would I do that?? I will never eat here again and I will make sure everyone knows why. Disgusting excuse for a business. If I could give it zero stars I would. Here is my picture of no rice after being charged extra for it. The woman played dumb at first when I called. Then proceeded to repeat that she had to charge me extra for the fried rice after telling her multiple times there wasn't any.
I love the food here! I only wish the containers didn't get smaller and the price higher....
I got general tso chicken and governors chicken it was very good and I recommend the governors chicken if ur looking for a filling chicken that tastes kinda sweet.
Never had a bad meal from here. Always great service and food.
