What Sullyvan Foulon doesn't like about L'escale:
Quite disappointing. When you ask for a steak of blue beef and it comes back to you between cooked and well done, you are still dealing with two very opposite cooking methods. Not a word of apology from the staff, not even a gesture. A shame because the setting of the brasserie remains pleasant despite everything. View all feedback. Estaminet full of charm like in the good old days. The atmosphere is excellent, you feel good there, everyone talks to each other, the very friendly manager is very attentive and listens. The no-fuss cuisine is really good. When it's a little chilly a stove is lit, it's very warm. View all feedback.
