Beautiful pub, a fairly local pub, but very welcome to tourists. Food was very good, large portions
Been using this bar for years! I'm not local so I use this bar around 2 times a year, the staff are friendly and welcoming . . . . Dog friendly at all times. They serve fresh food that is to a high standard, in 10 years I've only had 1 meal that was not upto it's normal standard and the staff dealt with my concern very quickly and professionally. The toilets are located upstairs so if you have mobility issues you will struggle. Good traditional pub with lots of character.
Working away and staying very near. Definitely worthy of a visit. Had rump steak. Was lush. Good drinks on and 10/10 staff. If your lucky, you might get the cocktail lad who makes all sorts. Definitely coming back when i come back
