Food was limited choice of three sandwiches sausage rolls or sweet cake but we were happy with our choices of food hummus and avocado bagel and a ham sandwich. Not the cheapest but they were blooming marvellous. We got the last pastel de nata too... result. Treated our pooches like the Prince and Princess that they are. View all feedback.
What Lourdesdaisy doesn't like about Rick Stein's Café:
I suspected it would be disappointing and it was. Average coffee and a below par cake. Very uncomfortable bench to sit on and a broken dishwasher meaning takeaway cups only. View all feedback.

Nice little place for a scone and a coffee. Clotted cream and Jam was perfect after a long day. Friendly staff too. Bit small inside.
Visited couple of times for sandwiches…at £11.50 out the chiller cabinet was expecting crab sandwich to be good…but turned out to be lots of shell in it and zero flavour asked for lemon or salt to liven it up but none available friend had ham salad sandwich which was totally tasteless as well average quality ingredients at best no seasoning I’ve had better from local petrol station at half the cost Given the Stein brand expect to pay but also expect quality , imagination and tasty result would not bother again ps staff very friendly tho
Really lovely lady served me but it went downhill after that. I paid £6.80 for the tiniest coffee I've ever had as a takeaway and the most burnt pain au raisin I've ever seen. If I had made it and it was as black as mine was today I would never have served it. The coffee tasted of fish! Very disappointed and I won't bother again.
Great coffee roasted locally and brilliant Barrista's. Friendly knowledgeable staff and good atmosphere. Very close to the sea front but not on it.
