Was Anonym at Pazo De Lestrove a mag?
we had dinner here when we left the camino. it's kind of expensive, but we decided to get a deal. we had both fish, and our waiter advised us that a starter would be enough between us after we had ordered two. he was right, and he. made us feel very ladylike! breakfast, buffet style is very good and of course the hotel itself is beautiful. What Anonym dislikes about Pazo De Lestrove:
Hiked here while on the trail to Compostela and very much enjoyed the visit. Nice and somewhat different room with decent dining at the small restaurant. Only negative was a wait person apparently having a really bad day. View all feedback.

Pazo de lestrove was approx. 750m away from the Camino path, so it's a little hard to get there, but it was good to get up. this is an old stone structure, on a large plot that was apparently the summer residence of the bischof. for many years and about 12 years ago it was converted into a hotel. the hotel has a very beautiful chapel to which it is attached, and a swimming pool and a large gran area to relax. the structure from the 16th century is built with 1m thick stone walls, low ceilings and furnished with interesting and timely furniture. we had a corner room with two windows looking over the property, and it was very comfortable. despite the heavy rock structure, wifi was excellent. it was a short 10min walk to the city where the cathedrale and fuente de carmen can be visited.

Lovely accommodation in a historical building. Friendly staff. The pool was much appreciated after walking the Camino. The room was luxurious. It's a little bit off the Camino way but it's well worth the extra walk.
