What Anonym dislikes about La Sofia:
the waiter was very rude. he looked at us sarcastically and did not help us choose the dishes that are Italian and very difficult to understand for a person who speaks not only Italian, but does not know the culinary terms. the good thing is that eating wasn't bad. View all feedback.

BOOK NOW! Everything was delicious (the tagliata was superb). Fair prices and generous portions. Quick service, even when it was packed, and above all, the staff were friendly and never rude.
I visited this Osteria in November.I had vegetarian dishes for it was dinner,it was fantastic. It was a special gastronomic experience for me to ask the waiter for his own favorite for dessert, and I got chocolate ganache with a pinch of sea salt. The whole dinner was fantastic, but this dessert was an unforgettable explosion of flavor, thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to taste it!Yes, the bookshelf is a great idea! While the food was being prepared, we found a wonderful Caravaggio-album, which we enjoyed looking at.
Just a stone's throw from the hospital, a fantastic osteria that's simply fantastic. Excellent food, good service, and a great atmosphere . What amazed me was that the little girl's dish arrived so quickly, without any waiting. Congratulations.
In the heart of Padua, just steps from the hospital, there's an osteria that's truly worth a visit. A welcoming place, it exudes a traditional Venetian atmosphere, yet with a touch of creativity that makes it unique. The menu features meticulously prepared Venetian dishes, along with a selection of interesting alternatives. The real star, however, is the bigoli with duck ragù: a dish that here reaches the highest levels of excellence, rich in flavor, balanced, and perfectly executed. It alone is worth the evening. Another characteristic of the osteria is its off-menu specials, which are frequently updated and posted on the blackboard inside. This detail demonstrates the desire to offer new dishes and dishes created with fresh, carefully selected ingredients of the day. The homemade desserts are also worthy of a mention: simple, authentic, and truly delicious, perfect for a perfect end to a meal. Finally, a special mention goes to the owner: kind, helpful, and always attentive to his customers. It's clear that he's a true professional in the industry, making every guest feel welcomed and cared for. An authentic, quality osteria where you eat well and feel even better. Highly recommended!
