Barchessa Contarini - PADOVA

We were invited to a wedding with reception at Barchessa Contarini. Location externally pretty enough, although unfortunately there were no seats for everyone during the buffet. The interior room was clearly under expectations, much too small for more than 100 people. Old and unclean bathrooms. Food with very little portions, eaten little and nothing special unfortunately... Then leaving the poor hospitality of the owner, arrogant and rude. I wouldn't recommend it at all for a wedding. I hope at least the spouses were happy...

Unfortunately, our marriage did not go as hoped. At some point of the day the owner stopped serving drinks until the arrival of the dessert, leaving guests dry-mouthed. We were denied making some simple games despite being requested in advance by friends. The agreements were to remain beyond midnight sin that we were invited with little kindness to leave the Barchessa long before. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. Nice location, but little hospitality!

A very nice place. The decoration brings us to the atmosphere of the 17th century. Nice hosts. Too bad it was not possible to use the services of the restaurant, but that will be another time.

Beautiful location, for weddings, dinners, banquets, quiet place, in the middle of the green, large garden, delicious food, both meat and fish.... Great, beautiful service, and preparation tables, also have rooms.... congratulations, good....

Excellent well-kept dishes of excellent quality... Excellent service... Nice place very characteristic... Simplicity and quality together!
