Decent Asian restaurant on the outskirts of Paderborn. Great setting with a big garden area for al fresco dining. Decor is attractive and the place has a nice and airy feel. Food is excellent with a wide choice of styles and dishes. The only downside...is service is a little on the slow side but overall I would recommend eating here. Not cheap but good overall value for money. View all feedback.
What Magdalena Košir doesn't like about Phong`s:
I went to Phongs restaurant on Sunday night and can honestly say the staff interior were fantastic ! Unfortunately the food was just Ok I had prawns with sweet chilli dip to start: This was nice you could tell they were pan fried...due to the crispy edges! Mains: I opted for the garlic chicken (hot) with vegetables! This was a let down, there was zero heat in the dish not a hint of garlic. The chicken was also over c... View all feedback.
Phong’s restaurant stands out from the great paderborner asia restaurants, because here the customer ordered his own dish. eating is picant, but not too boldly seasoned. also the lunch table of Mo.-Sa. convinces with fair trips and a delicious appetizer. in the summer months absolutely on the terrace or in the garden table!
Phong’s restaurant is not a secret tip anymore, since for years it has been well established, but nevertheless worth a positive review. The restaurant is held in English colonial style and is thus quite different from other "Lampignon and Dragon" Chinese. the owners are vietnamesen and offer a varied map with consistently excellent tasting Asian food. the service is prompt and friendly - in the rule the owners take care of their guests personally, so you feel almost family-owned. Mostly you meet paderborner prominence in the restaurant - by entrepreneurs about local politicians or sportsmen...The autokens on the parking lot in front of the house close to a larger catchment area. with beautiful weather you can enjoy the diner on the outside terrace or in the lasy garden under high trees. eltern with children find a large sandbox with slides and the 'love little' are well busy. After eating delicious, you can take with the owner and his wife a baggage on the bar, philosophically over all possible themes and say goodbye to a harmonious and pleasant visit at phong until the next time. Once there, you come back anyway.
Rich selection of good, good and tasty eating, friendly service, price/performance ratio is correct.Manko: we have found that masters are served preferentially, although they came later than we - annoying. when we were there with masters, we were preferred by the service.
We were very short tonight in phong’s and were thrilled! we had an early roll with the meat - self-made and fresh, and it would have been worth driving there. as the main course I had chicken meat Vietnamese art. the variety of tastes and the interplay of the spicy was magnificent. also the service was very friendly and courteous. I'm sure we haven't been there for the last time.
Very recommended. suitable for families. all freshly prepared. top service. good price-performance ratio. raised but not lifted.
