great business in a vital city. around rathaus and dom around with old town buildings. paderquell area right on the pedestrian zone allows walks in the green or a short picnic. View all feedback.
What Dietmar Unger doesn't like about Paderborn:
I have been living in paderborn for 4 years and have never been bored in my life. paderborn is boring. there is a road to shopping, but they have to look hard for something that is worth buying rudely without any manage. others crippled here said the people were nice, I don't think so they try to get dressed and see all the nice people, because for the night life this city is also a great garnison of the British poor... I just visited this city because a friend of mine lives there. but I was happy with this little town. it has a beautiful old town with some places and parks and even a large palast. good food, nice kebabs, good beer. it is worth visiting if they are close
It is a small place, but with a very beautiful panoramic view, there are also many historical places to visit, a super interesting story. the bad thing is that people don't speak English and it's a bit frustrating, they are at some places rude and unfriendly. when they speak with younger people, they speak English, but from 40 no English at all.

Fantastic. we plan to go back there. in the summer hopefully. we have gone to our sons. it has made us not want to spend christmas and silvester again. the Germans know how to give people the feeling to be welcome. I loved the fact that the markets were brilliantly festive and the various smells of food prepared on the market were fantastic. I didn't want to come home. holy evening is a brilliant day, as it is only for children and jesus. I really loved this tradition. the Christmas day is celebrated quite normal. we found great friends over there.
In some things a little provincial with a filtrated party landscape but otherwise very worth living :)
