Mensula - Paderborn

A vegan station, a vegetarian station, a salad bar, a meat dishes station (kabobs a favorite here) super low prices, especially on the special of the day. One day it was a version of Hungarian Goulash with a huge plate of noodles. Salad bar offers good varieties of veggies, eggs,beans, meats, some fish (tuna, herring). Lots of organic foods available, nice selection of fresh fruits, sweet breads, fruit juices. But this is a crowded, busy cafeteria, so plan on the lines and the crowds. Still, a full, hot meal for under 5Euro can't be beat. Ate here twice.

Nevertheless, a full-fledged, warm meal is unbeatable for under 5 euro. eat twice here.

The mesula is located directly near the mensa of universität paderborn. in contrast to the loud mensa, you open the door to the mensula and suddenly it becomes pleasantly quiet. eating is always fresh and innovativ, ceratiw and especially delicious. the lunch offer changes weekly.

This is a nice restaurant on the campus of the universität paderborn, in which teachers and administrators eat in rest at lunchtime. it offers pasta, salads and daily dishes with a respectable selection of beer and wine. the foods are carefully prepared and presented and the atmosphere invites to talk. I would never contradict a invite to the mensula, even though I might forget a few days later what I had eaten.
