Here are beautiful old German cuisine... The food is very tasty... price is in average around 8 € for the lunch table plus drinks... Outside sitting in a quiet corner there is another plus point.... The operation is quite fixed and very friendly... However, waiting time must be counted here many eat.. speaks for itself: View all feedback.

Very friendly staff, great for families and other. Great fine, nice wines and traditional atmosphere
Was on a quick visit to Paderborn as I will be moving out there in May. Went into the Deutsches Haus on Friday evening and although it was busy we got a table for It must be noted that we were British and I...steak rudimentary German but haven’t done so for nearly years. I asked in German if their was a table for available, and that we wanted to have a drink and something to eat. All the staff we spoke to spoke English but as I had spoken in German they answered me in German. They slowed their language speed down and spoke in plain and simple sentences allowing me to practice my German language skills again. They made recommdations for both food and drink which we accepted. We were surrounded by other Germans who then spoke to us and explained that they were not local and our food and drink choices were good ones. They were friendly and welcoming and were genuinely interested in my new job role which starts in May. The whole dining and evening experience was like a British pub or club years ago. The food was superb, we had schnitzels with a mushroom sauce and a jäger sauce. The beer was a local Paderborn brewery beer which was both malty but also crisp and refreshing. The Deutsches Haus will definitely be a regular haunt once I move out in May. I will bring all my visitors here. I can not recommend it highly enough
Late on a Wednesday night and this was the only place open for a beer. We had already been out for food but decided to hang it on for a few more beers. I believe the bar man was called Medi and he sat and...had a chat as there were only two of us in. He supplied beers and free paprika crisps so we were happy. It's a decent bar and open fairly late. Next time will go for food and see how it is however I would expect it to be just fine
Went for a meal with the wife, both ordered the schnitzel and didn’t regret it. Great food, great service and great atmosphere
