They have cheap and good breakfast formulas and we l... read more We had breakfast here because the café was close to our hotel and we could sit in the sun at the waterside. They have cheap and good breakfast formulas and we liked the relaxed atmosphere. As we passed by Café Röhren on our walk back...from Schloss Neuhaus along the river Pader we decided to have lunch there also. That turned out not to be such a good idea. Not only did our simple order of two savoury pancakes eggcheese and hamcheese take ages to arrive, when it finally did the pancakes were cold. The sidesalad was smothered in a sweetish dressing balsamic vinegar? we didn’t like. All in all a nice place, inside and outside, but we wouldn't have lunch here again

For breakfast you pay and choose out of ca items, Coffee and tea comes extra. On weekends you should be early or book a table

The breakfast system... read more It was sunny and warm and we highly enjoyed to be able to sit next to the water. The inside looked spacious and cosy with books everywhere. The breakfast system is very nice, with many options from which to choose, including many vegan ones that are clearly labeled (vegan cheese, salami and mortadella, chocolate spread, veggie spread, muesli... . It was big, the products were tasty but I regretted that nothing was homemade. We also got only two different kinds of bread even though we had ordered from 4 different ones. It's fine but it would have been nice to know. My latte was mostly made of light foam and therefore vanished after a couple of sips. Not the best breakfast of our lives, but it was nice to find a vegan-friendly location during our short stay in Paderborn.

Place is nice and the food tastes good... read more Went there for breakfast Sat and Sun. As mentioned before there is a form to tick the items you want for your breakfast. Place is nice and the food tastes good too. The only downside is that they seem to run out of vegan Salami/Mortadella/cheese every day. If you ordered those items you just won’t get them without any explanation. Only when you ask where the rest of your order is, they explain that they ran out of those items. As the place and the food is nice, they should keep stocks in place to avoid spoiling an otherwise nice experience.
