What Corrine Hackett doesn't like about Small Talk Espresso:
Best coffee in Brisbane. By far, Small Talk has the best coffee and atmosphere in Brisbane. It's quite small but the staff are super friendly and helpful... I didn't know what to order so the guy asked a few questions about what I liked and produced a superb coffee that was everything I wanted. Two thumbs up! View all feedback.
Lost and found - I actually wanted to come to this cafe several weeks ago and couldn't find it. Today I realise, that is because it is hidden under a building. I walked in around 10am in the morning and was promptly greeted by a lovely staff who was in the middle of making a coffee for a customer. There wasn't exactly a menu provided, but infront of the coffee machine was a small-ish blackboard written with the bagel fillings they offered. Next to the counter area was also a medium size clear cabinet, showcasing banana bread and the selection of bagels they sell ???? I was quite hungry so it looked like the Bagels was the way to go today :) I ordered a Garlic and Parmesan Bagel with Avocado and Cream Cheese filling as well as a Mocha coffee in a takeaway cup. The coffee came to the table and my first sip was a bit of a letdown. The chocolate flavour was present but the caffeine was weak. The whole beverage together tasted very watery. Unfortunately, it wasn't something I fancied. My bagel was served lightly toasted and cut in half. The garlic and parmesan on top of the toasted bagel, let out a pleasant aroma. I took my first bite and there was a balance of avocado and soft cream cheese. Simple but quite a delight ???? I'll be back for the bagels, perhaps I'll try a double shot flat white next time ☝???? Good Stuff: The bagels, as well as the cream cheese used here, are by Bagel Boys! Thank you, Small Talk Espresso, for the friendly service this morning ????????

This place is exactly what I didn't know I was looking for when I stumbled across it. Just great coffee. It's small, but the staff is very pleasant and the coffee is simply the best with out having to put up with some skinny jean wearing hipster who thinks they reinvented the Latte. Well done. Definitely my favourite coffee in Brisbane.
What a delicious coffee! I must say well balanced and a robust coffee hit! Really relaxed and a great place to start your day! Don't be fooled by its teeny tiny shop! Thanks heaps!
I don't usually rate places, but absolutely best coffee in Brisbane, you'd be silly not to give it a try; And you'll go nowhere else afterwards.
