Just finished an excellent dinner at Fish Lovers with some friends on a busy Friday night. We did not have a booking but the staff went out of their way to find us a table and were very accommodating. The food was out in less than 20 minutes despite a full restaurant and it was simply beautiful. What User dislikes about Fish Lovers:
Having been a customer for many years was very disappointed and walked out in disgust. Having booked a table the night.before, we arrived and queued for about 10 mins at the counter. The place was in meltdown. Über eats was taking overl. The order taker spent the 10 min wait on the phone I suspect with uber. This place is definitely not the cheapest "Fish and Chip" place in Brisbane, but it is a pretty good one.

The service at this bustling fish shop in Rosalie Village is very attentive. We decided to order the cod with chips, and were not disappointed. The chips were a generous portion, crunchy and almost grease-free. The cod, although small, had a light, crunchy batter and was moist and delicious.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I have to say, it has the best fish and chips in Brisbane. We tried the fish burger and the fishermen's basket with beer battered chips, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning.
