Excellent, friendly service. Great food. Low key, no frills atmosphere. Fair prices. Can be a bit of a wait, depending on the time/day or the week and staffing capacity. But overall, worth the wait. Skip Pelican Brewery, do not pass go, and head here immediately. View all feedback.
What Gaby Elsäßer doesn't like about Oar House Grill:
Bad service and subpar food. Our server, a woman whose name was Diania I believe didn’t do a great job. After we got our drinks she came around to ask if we were ready to order. None of us were, so we asked for a few more minutes to look at the menu. After 3ish minutes she came back to ask if we were ready. We asked for more time and she left for a second and came right back. I still wasn’t sure on what I wanted but... View all feedback.

We asked for more time and she left for a second and came right back. I still wasn’t sure on what I wanted but she began taking everyone’s orders forcing me to order as well. She was incredibly impatient and I felt rushed. I ended up ordering something I didn’t entirely want and it wasn’t that great for the price. Definitely won’t be coming back
My family has enjoyed coming to this spot for many years. Unfortunately this will be the last time ever. I don't know who was in charge last night but they need to understand they can't treat people like trash. No one attended to us, they turned us away with 9 people saying they were too busy and we didn't have a reservation. She literally pointed at a sign that says reservation. There were about 2 people eating there...This place clearly doesn't want business and I'd advise people to stay away. Seriously appalled you'd lose lifetime customers and hundreds of dollars. Word will spread.
Unique and delicious menu at the beach! A worthwhile stop. If you have a group larger than 4, call in advance as it's a small place. A great stop off the beaten path on the North Coast! Kid-friendliness: Crayons and paper available.
I had the best Rueben sandwich! The server said it was in house made and you could tell! My husband had the fish and fries which were excellent as well! He also ate the coleslaw which is something he never does so that tells you something!! All of the staff were friendly and awesome!
Best food in town! We will definitely be back. And very cute atmosphere.
