I took a look in the k... read more We had marinated shrimp, caponata (best ever), pasta norma (when in Rome) and seafood arancini. All were amazing, would highly recommend. I took a look in the kitchen on the way out and saw that it was extremely clean and full of fresh fish being expertly prepared. My wife completed the waiter on the nice warm fresh bread that they brought to the table and he filled a paper bag with more as a complementary take-home. More or less our best meal in Sicily

This marina resto is next to the water as well as other competing restos. I think this one is one of the better ones because it was busy while we were there while adjacent resto were not so much. We opted to sit outside under a canopy. We were very comfortable and looked forward to a seafood lunch. I ordered the octopus salad. The octopus was not a tender as I have had before at another resto, but still I enjoyed it. My wife had the nero pasta with squid. With 2 coffees, the tab was 43E.

The staff is super attentive and the food is very inventive whilst rooted in the local Sicilian culinary tradition. We tried their Caponata, the shrimp in citrus sauce, the Tonno e Cipolle and everything was incredibly well prepared and presented. The wine list is deep and very Sicily oriented. Do not skip dessert...

There was one waitress she couldn’t put on a smile if her life depended on it. Will never be back again. Good nothing special either.
