I have been going to Bonanza's since I was a child, and the hot dogs and icees are just as delicious as I remember. My kids really enjoyed it too. However, you haven't truly experienced an Italian Ice from Bonanza's unless you get it in the paper cup - yes, it's messy, but it's worth it! If you haven't been, I highly recommend it. An well loved oyster bay institution that deserves credit for staying true to its roots as a purveyor of simple foods from a simple shack. Refreshing consistency and authenticity in a world where things rarely stay the same.
How can Chinks be anything but a 5? As a native Bayvillian who lives in Tennessee, I look forward to a slice at Ralph's and Italian ice at Chink's. How many communities have a 100 year old Italian ice stand? Best wishes for the next 100.
Awesome, the Italian Ices were delicious, the service was great and very friendly, I am sure I will be going back. Blows away the competition.
