I visited the restaurant around 4 PM and encountered an issue. There was only one staff member present, and either she didn't notice me at the counter or chose to ignore me for more than five minutes. The food here is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The restaurant is quite small, but it's well-maintained and clean. We absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone seeking delicious sushi!

I came here hoping to grab a miso soup, but I was surprised to find out that they have a minimum $5 charge for card payments, and there was no sign indicating that. Is it too much to ask for them to cover their own credit card fees? I decided to leave after that. The owner, whom I assume is the woman at the register, was not friendly at all. She didn’t greet me and didn’t make it clear that I was supposed to order there. As a business owner, it’s important to show appreciation for customers choosing your restaurant. A little gratitude goes a long way!

I used to be a regular here for many years until I moved away in 2014. Even though it's not close to my workplace anymore, I was planning to return often, but now I'm reconsidering. I'm not even sure if the same owners are still running the place. I regret giving a 20% tip, but part of me felt sorry for them for having to resort to such tactics. When I questioned the price, I was told that it was $32 in LA, which I found to be an absurd comparison and completely irrelevant. Out of nostalgia, I'm giving it 2 stars for the good old times.
