Rose's Family - Oxford

Rose's has been our favorite local place for years. The food is amazing every time we come. OG and Lydia always takes care of us and we never have to wait for anything. It's so cozy and well lit. I love the seafood dishes and an am a sucker for the fish specials whereas my daughter and hubby go for their usual chicken vodka ziti dish. Lately we haven't had dessert because we're always full after dinner, but I love the tiramisu. It's so creamy and decadent!

Excellent traditional Italian American fare, with specials like Steak on a Tock, Tomahawk steak and others. Always nice choices on menu as standards and specials as well. The service is usually very good hitting the occasional dud , but still usually good. The Ambiance is dated. Booths, tables and a bar next door if you 're someone that likes a drink before dinner or like Sitting at a bar you can get the full menu, have a drink and watch a game or two. One of our staples and go-to restaurants except in summer when the sun beats down on a poorly laid out outside dining set up. Place does a bang up take out service and the pizza is good staple fare as well. Recommend.

First time here last night. I was trying to decide whether to have the petite rib eye or the regular. So glad I got the petite but there was nothing petite about it. Staff was courteous and very attentive. If one was busy another staff member checked in with us. Food portions were very large, enough for two meals. Steak we cooked and seasoned to perfection. Very good selection on the menu and for beverages. Very good local spot.

Came a few weeks ago to celebrate the end of my daughters school year. We've gotten takeout here a number of times but never dined in. Everything was standard, nothing poor, nothing mind blowing. I don't not recommend it and it is one of the better restaurants in Oxford, but there are some other Italian places in surrounding towns I'd be more likely drive a little further to go to instead.

They also have entertainment on weekends one guy name Joe Z excellent music plus the food is great and the service too .
