I had a very nice experience at Oxford House. The service was quick and friendly from start to finish. We ordered the nachos as as as starter and I have to say they were probably the best nacho platter I've ever had. The tortillas seemed very home made...I would go back just for those home made tortillas View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Oxford House Tavern:
Flatbreads were undercooked, not raw but needed a couple minutes in the oven. Calamari had to be sent back. Way overcooked and chewy looked nothing like the orders that people were enjoying at tables around us. Server was friendly but service was slow. Food was very good. The blackened mahi mahi was absolutely delicious. The waitress was excellent despite it being her first day on the job.
Excellent service and food. The burger was excellent, shrimp tacos were too.
Just went with friends for a leisurely lunch. Waiter was outstanding
A decent casual place for a burger and a beer. A bit disappointed when I received the check though. My daughter had a French onion soup that was $9? Both kids has Shirley Temples; a mere $4 each? I guess I should have looked at the menu on the soup, but ice water for them both next time, a bit steep for fountain soda and a splash of grenadine!
Had the 6 pierogies as an appetizer which were excellent and filling. The surf and turf kabob was also very good and so were the burgers but was more rare than medium. No complaint about service. Will be back on a Wednesday for the baby back rib special.
