What User doesn't like about Margherita's:
Had good service from a new employee who was very attentive, but unlike her, our experience was not good. The food was either boiled under or over. The marinara sauce was burned and the meatballs seemed to burn freezers and were honestly rough! After a bad meal, a customer brought in his dog and left him on the counter without intervention from the restaurant staff, but embraced. Probably not good for the old health... View all feedback.
Absolutely terrible. An order number (standard, no concerns) was called and placed. When we wanted to pick up the order, they said that the order was already picked up. Apparently not how we just arrived. They did not apologize or offered an alternative. You said it would take 50 minutes to get the pizza back. Bad service. Extremely disappointed. Not recommended.
Ordered a caprese salad which was supposed to have arugula, but instead it had what looked like wilted iceberg lettuce in it.
Always a great experience dining in or taking out from here. Friendly service, good food, and fair prices. For example, the wedding soup I had during my most recent visit tasted like it had been reheated or sat in a warmer all day. However, in my experience, these occurrences are rare and very minor, and I can say that I?ve never had a meal from here that I would consider ?bad?. Overall solid option if you?re in the area and looking for a good pizza place.
We had heard a lot of favorable reports about this place and received a gift certificate so decided to try it. We can't say anything really negative, but not excited by it either. The food was ok, not too pricey. It took a little long to arrive. Our waitress was sweet, but sort of frazzled. Just little things were off, she took another couple's order before ours though we were seated earlier. She forgot immediately to bring my husband a fork right after we asked. He ended up using mine after I finished my dessert. She took a long time to bring our check. Nothing was a really big deal. The food was ok, the service was ok, the pricing was ok. Hence, 3 stars.
This is small pizzeria up in Oxnard, PA. I had lunch here with my brother recently when we gave this place a try. Upon walking in it's kinda like walking back in time. Wood paneling. Paper placemats with advertisements on them, etc. It was about 12:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon and we were the only customers that I could see. I wasn't sure what to make of the place. There was an open air kitchen off to the right side that was empty. We seated ourselves when no one showed up to seat us. Eventually our server did show up with some menus and we ordered drinks. We decided to get a large pizza with Pepperoni and Italian Sausage. The pizza looked pretty good when it arrived. The dough was fresh and the pepperoni was good to, however the Italian Sausage was bleh. It wasn't spoiled or anything, it just wasn't (in my opinion anyway) a good Italian Sausage. We didn't see our server again until she brought us the check. Never offered refills, etc. Both of us came to the same conclusion and all I have to say was that the whole experience was decidedly mundane. Absentee server. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. meh... I think once was enough for this place.
