The owner or manager is very difficult to deal with. I know someone who, on their first day after training, was not moving quickly enough, even though they were doing their best. He started yelling at her, claiming she wasn't ready for the job. It seems like everyone at the restaurant is afraid of him. View all feedback.

However, the octopus appetizer was fantastic, and the calamari was also delicious. Despite the pizza letdown, I won't write this place off and plan to return!
We dined at Char Lemon for the first time this weekend, and I have to say it was hands down the best food I've had in a long time. Everything was delicious—from the appetizers and cocktails to the salad, pizza, and, of course, the dessert! We were seated by the outdoor fireplace, and our server was friendly and welcoming. The ambiance and music truly set the perfect tone for a night out, and we left feeling satisfied and happy. Excellent job! We will definitely be returning!
We had a lovely lunch with the girls to support a friend who is fighting cancer. The staff was fantastic, and the manager was incredibly supportive. They surprised us with sparkling cranberry juice because they noticed we were all wearing pink. The manager even chatted with my friend about fundraising and shared ways he could help. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and the service was genuinely friendly. We will definitely be returning!

The manager is the complete opposite of his staff and customers. He’s very friendly to customers, but he often raises his voice at his employees. I know someone who was told on their first day—right after training—that they weren't ready, despite it being their very first day on the job. I really think this manager needs to experience the same treatment he gives his employees, or someone should help him realize the importance of humility so he can change the way he treats his team.
