Wasabi - Oxford

Unfortunately had a really poor experience here. Staff weren’t friendly whatsoever, you get charged more by approximately £1 per item for eating in?? Despite not being given any different service whatsoever than if you were to take it away? School dinner type trays, take-away unnecessary plastic packing. You have to pay extra for soy sauce and wasabi…dirty tables, seats all stained with soy sauce, toilets dirty. Certainly won’t be returning here nor any other Wasabi for that matter.

Slight problem with pricing as we cannot find out the cost before paying. We had the salmon rolls and rainbow set and they were fresh and tasty, Pleasant staff.

This place is conveniently located on Oxford's main shopping street. Inside, there is plenty of seating on long benches and tables, and window seats with USB charging ports. There is plenty of food selection with both hot and cold options, cold drinks, and a few sweets. The pricing is very good far better than itsu and yo sushi. You can eat well for around £7 with a drink which makes this an affordable option for a healthy and quick lunch or dinner. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This particular franchise has a very rude customer service. The sushi is nothing special. I would avoid this place for better restaurants right nearby.

I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The Tom Yum soup was flavorful and the salmon sushi was delicious. Both dishes were very tasty. I will definitely be returning soon. This place offers great value for a meal, whether you choose to eat in or take away.
