This Wetherspoons is truly iconic, with fantastic decor and ambiance surrounding the food. The talented architect William Morris definitely had an eye for beauty and aesthetics when designing and promoting his motor products in the 1930s and 40s. the service was slow because there was only one person on the bar and i was waiting for 10 minutes. this person on the bar was young and blonde and she was rude and didn't understand my order when i was being clear? then the food came and the burger only got one measly slice of tomato and the jacket potato was next level disgusting like i couldn't eat it and the amount of salad dressing was a joke like too much!! i w... Its a typical Wetherspoons. Clean and relatively busy.
Great prices to food and draught beer. Full English breakfast is excellent, prices can't be beaten... Friendly staff, quick service. Pub is kept very clean. Thoroughly recommend!
Service was quick and reliable, on the night I went they had a lot of things out of stock, but later on they managed to restock a majority of the items. It's the cheapest wetherspoons in Oxford, but the one downside is that it's not in the best area.
