Lively with great food and very friendly staff. beautiful in summer when they can sit outside at the river plenty parking and outside seat.
Very nice eating when a little on the expensive side for appetizers and gloomy of Sunday roasts ran out before our late afternoon booking, which was somewhat disappointing. a breathtaking view of the cherwell and a magnificent sunset. the personal was friendly when a little disorganized. a very pleasant visit
We came to Oxford for a day of shopping and stopped for lunch hoping for an affordable meal. The location of the pub is stunning and ideal for those with pets as it's incredibly spacious and the waiting staff are courteous and willing to help out with any requests we had. It was definitely value for money as the food was delicious and served in liberal portions! We sat for a lot longer than expected due to the comfortable atmosphere and the amazing food, as well as the wide range of drinks (alcoholic and soft) that was available to us! I would recommend this pub for anyone thinking of visiting Oxford for a delicious meal and a drink, as well as a scenic environment that seems so different from the city centre. Can't wait to return!
Often, when you want to go somewhere for years, you are disappointed when you finally get there, but we set out on our walk from Oxford in hopeful anticipation, and the pub exceeded our expectations. It has a delightful interior, but we were able to sit in the lovely beer garden. We expected to have to wait to order food, but, no, they began serving at 11:00. The fish and chips were excellent. A lovely holiday memory.
Amazing choice to spend the summer suns. many seats in the open at a wonderful day! in the interior was also appealing, beautiful decorator historical location. elevated pub farmers, tasty drinks, grateful with ice. would highly recommend and will return on my next trip to oxford definatly!
