nice lunch on a quiet, lazy Sunday. the place was huge, but not too crowded. so it was possible to have a conversation without increasing their vote. the service is decent and the place is child-friendly and pet-friendly. View all feedback.

three of us enjoyed the roast of chickens and a roast lamb dinner for Sunday dinner today. the six x beer was apparently excellent as the non-alkohokic fentiman’s zero sugar ingwer beer. the food came ready plated, with boiled beet root, petersnip, carrots and crispy roast potatoes, with a delicious, thick gravy and a big yorkshire pudding on everyone. service was fast and polite. we liked the Latte coffee especially... Great local pub...great food* would like to invite the community to a selection of buitifulf home cooked food*
Looking for a place to eat lunch as was in the area , initially went to the tree hotel but they were closed and they directed us here. I have been here previously a couple years ago and it was mediocre at best quite an...old school pub feel and felt grimy. Have to say we were pleasantly surprised, I had a vegan burger and my friend had a chicken burger both served with salad and chips. We both enjoyed our food and sat in the outside back area. Prices are reasonable and although there was only one member of staff visible and slightly overrun it was still a nice meal . Felt a bit more light and airy in the pub too. I Would return .
Was disgusted to see a member of staff downing drinks with costumers while on shift on Saturday night. She is rude, has a foul mouth and has no costumers service whatsoever. I have visited this pub for many years and i am sad to this...being run how it is. It used to be a well respectable pub with pleasant, well spoken and smartly dress staff. Now the staff have disgusting language, look scruffy and are allowed to drink on the job. I will not be returning!
Not a particularly friendly welcome , ok inside If this place is to survive the woman behind the bar who appears to be in charge may want to rethink where her bread is buttered Spent quite a bit for 8 of us , not sure...we would go back Cant comment on food and toilets need attention
Good and happy atmosphere, welcoming and efficient staff, tasty pub food with a reasonable choice from the menu, quick service,
