Two of us, plus dog, enjoyed a good Sunday dinner. we had both their torte, which was good with excellent maische and veg (old dente and perfectly cooked), the only weak point was the rather lustless engraving. the choice was good, the staff was excellent and our dog got water and tasty (without asking us) all in all, a good lunch if not a great one.
The first time here. Lived streets pub but beautiful surprise of a peaceful flower beer garden on the back. Plus good food and a selection of Ales.
A big, fabulous pub with great beer. Once it was the oranges and lemons, known in the Oxford music scene of the 70s and 80s. It's still a great pub
Came at Easter weekend, had a wonderful Sunday Roast (we had beef) everything was on site. The staff was friendly, service was great, really did our weekend. Very recommended and would definitely come back.
