The staff was lovely, and the homemade food was delicious and uncomplicated. It's the perfect spot for lunch, especially for my daughter on her way to university. They do charge a premium for card payments, which was a bit of a hassle when I didn't have quite enough cash for a beer. However, the staff was kind enough to let me slide on the 5p I was short.
