Dining here is an excellent experience! I highly recommend the small quiches; they are fantastic. I visited while waiting for my train, and I was lucky to have a lovely window seat along with an outdoor area to enjoy the pleasant weather. The staff is very friendly, and there's even cafe furniture available for sale. View all feedback.
What Emmy W doesn't like about Missing Bean Turl St:
For being a proper coffee place, although the quality of the beans is nice, I would recommend improving the milk on the latté to have more froth, and the size of the latté could be bigger for the price. View all feedback.
A tasty place for coffee and pastries with friendly staff members. I tried a latte and a flat white ans both were great. The only downside is that there’s no wifi. The university people are probably okay as Eduroam is available.
The Missing Bean at Turl Street has been my home away from home while studying abroad at Oxford. I have spent numerous hours people watching from its windows, meeting friends, and frantically writing essays with the perfect cup of coffee and a warm smile to cheer me up. Its a student favorite for good reason: there are plenty of delicious pastries and food choices, numerous drinks (hot and cold, and lots of milk alternative options), and even an outdoor patio for summer time. On my last day I did my final walk around the streets of Oxford and of course I had to stop by for my last latte, but I didn’t expect to be so deeply impacted when saying goodbye to the staff there, I won’t go into detail but they are truly a wonderful bunch and I won’t ever forget the act of kindness I experienced there that made my final day. Hope to return soon!
Best coffee in Oxford. Be warn they close at 4:30 and last orders are before that. I’ve learned the hard way after walking there 4 times a day and on one of there 20min walks I arrived at 16:29. Last orders was called before my arrival.
I liked the place. Quick service. Decent prices. Both indoor and outdoor seating options. The seats beside the window are quite nice. On a sunny day, one might enjoy sitting outside. Good location in city centre in Turl Street. Just off High Street. That's convenient and easy to reach. But that means it can also get quite busy at times.
