While many diners rave about its diverse menu, reasonable prices, and attentive service, others express disappointment over food quality and rising costs. Highlights include fantastic burgers, delicious fish and chips, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Patrons appreciate the friendly staff and prompt service, despite occasional slowdowns. The decor and ambiance are noteworthy, elevating the dining experience. Ultimately, visitors are divided, with some eager to return for their next meal, while others leave with lingering disappointment. Overall, it remains a popular choice for many in the city.
The fish and chips and soup were delicious, the coffee was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are nice. My friends and I came here for breakfast and we highly recommend it.
We visited this restaurant for lunch after enjoying our breakfast experience. Despite being busy, we still received excellent and prompt service. Our food arrived quickly, freshly cooked, piping hot, and delicious. The restaurant also had clean restrooms.
I went for Burger Monday and absolutely loved it! The prices were affordable, the drink selection was great, and the burgers were delicious. I especially enjoyed the Oxford sauce. The outdoor setting was also beautiful, but having some heating outside would make it even better. I am looking forward to trying other dishes in the future. The staff was also friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning.
A very nice place to eat. The food is fresh, appetising and above all, very delicious. So delicious we ordered another sizzling prawn starter before we even finished the first one. Their bbq belly pork ribs are amazing. We would and will be happy to drive an hour to go back just for something to eat.
We received a warm and friendly welcome as strangers in town at this cozy bar/restaurant. The service was superb and speedy from the moment we walked in. The cocktails were delicious, especially with the happy hour discount. The food menu had options for everyone, but the burgers seemed to be a popular choice. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel and said it was even better than ones he had in Vienna. Everything was cooked to perfection. The mains, drinks, and dessert came to under £90, which we found to be extremely reasonable. We highly recommend booking a table here, you won't be disappointed!
