Contribute FeedbackDespite some mixed reviews, Jin Jin offers a valuable hot pot experience with friendly staff, authentic Chinese cuisine, and a cozy atmosphere. While some customers have expressed concerns about food safety and long wait times, others have praised the delicious flavors and exceptional service. The hot pot, in particular, has received glowing reviews for its taste and value. With its extensive menu, attentive staff like Vicky, and complimentary touches like fortune cookies, Jin Jin offers a reasonably priced option for those seeking a traditional Chinese meal in Oxford.
The Mapo Tofu is a bit salty, but her pig and chilifish is amazing until the British Chinese food goes. Great hospitality and beautiful cozy surroundings. Very limited space, so if you come better, make sure you book yourself, as they will appear full the most time.
The hot pot at Jin Jin was amazing. It was our first time tried hot pot and the waitress was very helpful. She made sure to explain every step and even made us her favorite sauce. The broth was very tasty and the meat was tasty. The hot pot was all you can eat, including soft drinks for £25 per. I would recommend it to everyone. But when we went there was only one waitress, so of course the service was a little slow, but it is worth waiting and honestly not something that bothered me.
Order from Jinjins yesterday for taking, as in Oxford for a few nights, and that was recommended to me. Must say it was a pretty good Chinese. My wife ordered the Chinese chicken balls, shredded beef and then also chips and spring rolls and everything tasted great. Would definitely eat here again if in Oxford next.
My favorite place so far. Amazing delicious food, amazing serving. Enjoy every bite. Just incredible!
Jin Jin is a great Chinese restaurant. The environment and food is very good and typically found in China. Prices are cheap and staff are nice. I really enjoyed hotpot there and I'd recommend the prawn crackers, fried chicken and pork!
