My friends and I have been going to Gurkha Village for years now. We have never had a subpar meal there, the staff is always friendly and courteous, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great dining experience. The food was average and slightly disappointing. The starters came out lovely and hot and tasted fine, however the main dishes were a complete dissapppointment. The sauces for the curry were tasteless and almost watery. I usually hear very good things about Gurka village and have been before when it hasnt been like this. We had a nice time in this restaurant. We were a large group of friends who were often a bit hard to use, but that was brilliant. Really enjoyed the food, there is also a bar available and they were all very friendly.
Had an early dinner here with some colleagues and enjoyed it very much. Very nice food and friendly service.
What a wonderful restaurant. We wanted to eat lunch last night and stumble over this little jewel. The service was great and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, we do not live in Oxford because this will definitely be local! Thanks for a nice meal
Absolutely fantastic food here. Always epic and a favorite Sunday night for the whole family.
Consistently excellent and in my opinion, the best in its class across the entire area! Really tasty food, good quality ingredients and nicely presented/prepared from fresh. Makes a change!
