What Foodhygieneratingfrk doesn't like about Green's Cafe:
The food was OK the staff were fine BUT the building/layout was simply bad. Cobwebs everywhere and they didn't display their food hygiene rating. I later checked it and it had 4 out of 5 (good) but previously scored a 3 (generally satisfactory). View all feedback. What User likes about Green's Cafe:
the best place for baguettes in oxford, I don't apologize. they do exquisite tuna, or those with speck, and veggie those. next to delicious folding jackets, muffins, cakes and paninis. they also have a good room upstairs, good coffee and take hot chocolate, and probably the best alcohol-free drinks in oxford arizona tea, fentimans and juices. I really hope that they will complete this. View all feedback.

read moreNestled near the Ashmolean, this café presents a mixed bag of experiences. Diners rave about the varied menu, featuring exquisite baguettes, gluten-free options, and delightful coffee, ideal for a quick bite or a cozy meeting. However, concerns about cleanliness persist, with cobwebs and inconsistent cake quality prompting disappointment. Service is generally commendable, with friendly staff enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. While some dishes impress with freshness and flavors, others—like dry cupcakes—miss the mark. Overall, it’s a charming spot with potential, inviting patrons for satisfying sandwiches and pleasant service, but improvements in food presentation and hygiene could elevate the experience.
Grew up with a buggy and stopped down for coffee, klappjack and omlette. good filter coffee and my cheese and bacon omlette was delicious.
They serve very delicious food and the best mousaka in Britain!
