Quite pricey for what you're getting, especially as there's fish and chips every other street. Service was OK, although we did visit on a Saturday night with a full restaurant and several large parties. The scallops were cooked very nicely, and the celeriac garnish was delicious. The crab bisque starter was fresh and crabby, and the calamari was nicely cooked and not greasy at all. The fish and chips were good, but quite dry and don't come with any accompaniment unless you pay extra for the mushy peas. The batter wasn't greasy, and the fish was nicely cooked. The chips were thick cut and moreish. It lives up to what people say in other reviews, but you can get fish and chips that are 90% as good for half the price at a good local chippy. There weren't too many vegetarian options, but in the end it is a fish restaurant. To keep the cost down we didn't get a dessert, but there were lots in the display cabinet that looked very good. CuttleFish is a good choice for fresh fish and a nice meal out, you can't go wrong unless you're a bit tight on budget.
