Small authentic noodle shop is located in a corner of the covered market. Really sweet people there, hard work and friendly. We came to the opening at 10:30 and were #3 in the line. Only three tables outside, but you can take your food to the benches in the middle and your meal. A total of over £10 you can use your card, all under, cash. View all feedback.
What Jessica Scott doesn't like about A Taste Of China Sān Qín Bǎi Wèi:
For something a bit different it's priced okay but is not flavoured as well as me and my partner had hoped. It is missing some of the flavour profile we expected in some of the stuff. However it is filling and tucked away in a quiet corner of the market allowing for more of an intimate and relaxing talk. View all feedback.
Delicious, honest food that looks super authentic. I was one of the few non-Chinese speakers to order. I saw the chefs make my noodles fresh to create my spicy stew with pork balls. I asked for medium spices that were almost too much for me, but still outstanding. This is an excellent place to get a healthy lunch.

It has found something because it's back on the wall on Market Street, but it was worth it. The vegetarian noodle salad was simple but perfectly balanced – not oily, not dry and spicy as I wished. A friendly and very helpful employee also explained how many other items can be made vegetarian on the menu. I know where I have lunch in the next two days!
The best noodle bar in Oxford. The dry hot noodles are just £6 good portion and magical amazing! The only bottom is limited table. It's better to get it as a farewell. To skip the queue, you can call and place the order in advance.
Located at the north end of Oxford Covered Market. I ordered braised beef and braised pork with rice. They were very good. My favorite is beef noodles. It has the taste that I would have in Shanghai or other parts in China. Real authentic Chinese taste. Not only Chinese, this place might be well known among locals which can be seen from the crowd. There are two small tables for a quick meal on the spot. Take away is the most preferred option. Strongly recommended for warm tasty Chinese food in Oxford.
