We stopped here after a visit to the beautiful Tamborine Mountain area. The food was typical Hungry Jack's which we enjoy every now and then. The staff service was standard fast food, the restaurant was clean, and it was quiet so seating wasn't an issue. The only negative was the air conditioning was way to cold. What User doesn't like about Hungry Jack's:
Just got home with two young kids and they forgot to put the burger in the bag!!! When I called the store their number rang out three times. I have just done a 12 hour day, waited in the waiting bay for five minutes and now I have no dinner - whopper Jnr w cheese when I get home. So disappointed. View all feedback.
Totally understaffed. The lady who was serving at the cashier was doing multiple things... from cooking, to making the cashier, taking orders, doing the drinks etc.. she was amazing. Well done
Don't be fooled by construction zone it's open, 24/7...atmosphere rather dull considering location, could do with some beats. In any case the Burgers are better at hungry jacks, but bring back the free softdrink refills
The food was edible. Staff are unprofessional talking about their love lives and weekend adventures whilst cooking food, loud enough for the restaurant to hear. The self order system was confusing, I ended up having to put through 3 separate orders. The girl serving, calling out numbers, rolled her eyes as people stood confused about who's order was next. Message to the owners teach your staff to smile, and make eye contact. Customers don't need to hear who got with who on the weekend.
The store was very clean, the staff were very friendly and my order was taken quickly and I was sitting down with my sundae just as fast. The tables and chairs were nice and clean as well. They have toilets and there is parking in the Cavill Mall itself. It is not what I would say wheel chair friendly as it is an extremely small building. But it looks great now.
Well done to the Manager and staff for the way you handled a very difficult situation, lunchtime last Friday when two pumped-up, teenagers, displaying violent behaviour, entered the restaurant and demanded money. I was a customer there at the time and congratulate you on the way you handled an extremely volatile situation. Hope you all have recovered.
