We visited Bill's on a blustery Saturday just to see what it was all about. While the menu is small, the food is exceptionally well-prepared. We expected typical café fare, but Bill adds an artistic flair that surpasses our expectations. The seafood chowder was outstanding, and the hot ham and cheese sandwich served on a delightful sub roll was equally satisfying. The prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent—you definitely need to check it out!
We decided to try this restaurant after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. It's situated in the regional airport building, but there are no signs to direct you. As someone with a sensitive sense of smell and taste, I was immediately struck by the overwhelming fishy odor when the seafood chowder arrived. The ammonia-like scent was quite off-putting. Unfortunately, my first taste confirmed my suspicions; fish should not have a smell unless it’s old, and that’s exactly what I detected in this chowder. I managed to eat a bit, but it was overly salty as well. The oyster crackers were damp and tasted stale, likely due to excess humidity. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience.
A great new option for anyone in search of delicious takeout. The seafood chowder was outstanding, packed with fresh seafood and wonderfully rich, all at an affordable price! The Italian dish includes authentic Italian meats, fresh vegetables, and garlic oil! I’m looking forward to trying more items from the menu.
I had a delicious breakfast sandwich, and while I was there, the chef also prepared a lunch sandwich for me—a tuna with wasabi. I managed to wait until noon to enjoy it, and wow, it was an incredible sandwich! Be sure to give this place a try; you won't regret it!
