Olivia's Family Restaurant - Owatonna

Was looking for a sit down restaurant to break up our long drive and came across this little gem! I absolutely love these mom and pop restaurants and it did not disappoint!! The food was EXCELLENT and the waitresses were working their butts off to keep everyone happy even though you could see they were short staffed. I would highly recommend to swing in here when you are in town. The staff and food are amazing!!

Had breakfast here twice so far and both times has been amazing. As busy as they were, we have never waited to be seated and have always had outstanding and friendly service. I didnt get their names, but our last visit the young man that seated us was very proffesional and friendly. He did not hesitate to get us seated as soon as we walked in. The older lady we had as a server was very personable and went above and beyond. The food has been really good also. The prices are very reasonable especially compared to large chain restaurants. Will definitely continue to return.

The Olivia's Family Restaurant serves delicious home cooking in a beautiful family atmosphere. We go on Sunday a lot for all you can eat breakfast buffet. It's always amazing. Service is always friendly.

In about 2pm were and not another customer. My son ordered the special rack of Ribs. I ordered a taco wrap. I'll tell you. We have our food super fast. But it could say clearly in food. My taco meat tasted as if it had been fought warm to Luke. Tomatoes had a bad taste to go. Was so hungry trying to put acidic cream on it to taste it better and that didn't work. Basically paid for French Pommes. My son's ribs were edible, but understated. If you want to reheat food, make sure it tastes good. From someone with 13 years of cooking in a restaurant!!

Regardless of time, my family of 4 was very treated. After bottling on drinks happened before they were needed, boxes were given, and the ticket could have been delayed a bit, but that was just because the business picked up. Honestly price and service against cost and time, they are deer. Vegetarian options: your vegetarian melt and veggie skilled where amazing. I asked for my skill to have one side of the Hollandaise sauce, and it was raised.
