Mineral Springs Brewery - Owatonna

MSB is located on the west side of downtown Owatonna. They do not serve food but rely on food trucks. There are some bar snacks available like flavored pretzels and popcorn. There is a list of upcoming food trucks on their website and they have apretty good booking. They usually have them on Thursday and weekend nights. They also feature other events like bingo, triviaand car cruises. But let?s not forget that have a nice stage area outside for live music. The prices seemed very fare andthey do have a growler option available. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice relaxing evening or if you and yourfriends want to have a board game night.

Really excellent beers and great people and ownership. I?m very impressed with the brewmaster here and his delicious recipes. My only real complaint is the food trucks, I love good food but nearly every food truck they have either runs out of food ordoesn?t show up. That means I have to leave and go elsewhere for food which is a hassle. Great beer and people but questionablefood trucks.

Inaugural visit yesterday; inaugural delicious visit yesterday. Getting there opening gave me a chance to chat up beertender Isaac about which beers he likes and if I 'm only going to have two, which should they be? Isaac directed me to Shea stout and Lemond lime gose; which I told him were both the ones that came recommended by Foremost patrons earlier. I 'll admit being there before open, seeing my thermostat read 88 and then seeing the tap room opening by garage doors being opened... I cringed as I thought it 's too hot for this however, he knew what he was doing! Breezy crosswind between the two doors left it comfortably cool and a chance to enjoy the fresh air.... it 's been a LONG winter, we needed this! Both beers were delicious! The brewery opened 4 and already about a half hour later the place had quickly filled!! There is live music Saturday so I asked Isaac where they perform? On the patio incline or if it 's raining on the outside corner of the patio. Mineral Springs provided a great experience; easy parking, comfortable atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff and delicious beer. Thanks for a great visit, I look forward to my next trip in when I won 't be so full so I can order a flight or two to try more of your offerings, cheers!

So far so good!! Beer is great, we have now booked an igloo 3 weeks in a row. It's been the same hostess/bartender everytime so far, and she is extremely polite and attentive. Thus far it has been a very relaxing fun and great time
