Shakes were delicious, fun atmosphere and lovely server! Loved the Willy Wonka and Goonies themed items! Blueberry pancakes were huge and delicious. Disappointed in the cheesecake filled red velvet cupcake. Filling was good but the cake part was so dry and almost flavorless. Presentation was nice though! Unfortunately, my husband decided we should get takeout here for his birthday this past year and it's a major regret. He's on a weight loss drug, so he doesn't get to eat very much because it limits how much he can eat and his appetite, so this was basically all he got to eat for 12 hours. MAD Eats describes their Caprese Grilled Cheese as the following: Melted mozzarella, provolone, cheddar jack cheeses with sliced tomato, and basil pesto on grilled sourdough. My only special request was no tomato. The photo shows what I got. My sandwich was covered in burnt cheese and, as there was no photo to warn me that I could find on the menu, I was completely unprepared for this crime against cheese. I LOVE grilled cheese in [almost all its forms. This fiasco, though, was atrocious. Oh, and the cheesecake? It tasted sour. Like, well beyond a cream cheese sour. Like, the ingredients were past their due date sour. And it was so expensive it would have been absurd to try to buy a better dessert after our extremely disappointing dinner. So, even though we wasted a ton of money on our awful dinner and dessert, we ended up with very little edible food, because it was all awful. And the waitstaff who brought it out to the car seemed like they had a million better things to be doing; and that did not include being nice to me or talking to me like a person. I love mad eats but the food quality has suffered the past two times I've been there. Had the fried chicken picnic and two of the four pieces were the size of my thumb. Mac and cheese was rubbery and the Cole slaw was dry. The milkshakes are good though. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Full Monte Cristo Sandwich

MAD Eats promises an exciting culinary experience, featuring an inviting atmosphere and a variety of appealing dishes. While many patrons rave about the delicious milkshakes and homemade coconut cream pie, others express disappointment with the food quality and service consistency. Some menu options, like gluten-free dishes, have become less clear, causing frustration among diners. Despite mixed reviews on individual dishes ranging from fried chicken to grilled cheese, the restaurant excels in friendly service, with some patrons noting that the vibrant ambiance makes for an enjoyable dining experience. Overall, MAD Eats remains a noteworthy stop, though with room for improvement.

When our food arrived, my wife tried the Ahi tuna and really enjoyed it. It was cooked perfectly, and the sides complemented it well. I had to taste it; it had a distinct fishy flavor that quickly faded when the sauce was added. My brother ordered the chicken fried steak and was quite impressed. I went for the chicken fried meatloaf, which was an unexpected delight. Both of our chicken fried dishes were served with homemade mashed potatoes and French-style green beans. My meatloaf was a tad salty, but the green beans helped balance it out perfectly. Of course, we had to save room for dessert. The milkshakes were amazing and looked great! I can't wait to come back and take my kids. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive and did an excellent job. I wanted to compliment the manager, but he was busy taking care of all the food and drink orders. I’ll definitely be back!

The desserts were very good, but the menu was not very impressive to me. If you like spicy or food with a kick, then you will like it. Everything I saw on the menu had a spicy twist. We took cookies to go and they were extremely good! I would like to go back and try their shakes.

I was really excited to eat at this restaurant after seeing so many pictures online. My family and I placed our orders for the dishes we usually love to try. My son ordered a shake that was quite good, my wife had the fried meat stew, which was also pretty decent, and my daughter enjoyed the grilled cheese. However, I ordered an $18 roast chicken platter that came with dry roasted chicken and a dry corn cake. I found it so dry that I needed to drink water just to get it down. I mentioned this to the server, and she said she would inform the manager. Unfortunately, the manager never came out to speak with me. Despite the poor experience, I ended up paying full price for everything. I'm just going to let it go and trust that karma will take care of it. Maybe it was because they had only been open for an hour, but no customer should ever be served food like that, especially not at full price and without any apologies!

My precious neice and her fiance Jerry are having their wedding shower in this fabulously wonderful cafe. The staff here is very present and attentive and our server, Mallory, brought our drinks right when we sat down and soon after took our orders. Very friendly, professional and just plain nice people! I hope that this place will continue to have overwhelming success!

The Caprese grilled cheese always hits the mark! The photos show it without tomatoes, but with the amazing, thick, crispy speck, and those brown bits? That's all cheese. The chef really showcased their cheese skills today. Thank you!

We went on Labor Day, there was a short wait for a table. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans and added a cup of tomato soup. My entree and sides were great. I really didn?t care much for the soup. My husband had the bbq baconburger without cheese with sweet potato fries. It was cooked perfectly. The bacon was some of the best tasting bacon I?ve had.Pricing was great. Restaurant was clean. Our server was very pleasant.

Stopped in for lunch and was blown away. Ambiance was fun and light, service was outstanding and the food was phenomenal. I had the Grilled Chicken Chimi, my buddy had the brisket tacos and another co-worker the Asian salad. Everyone in our party ravedabout the food. I thought it was more than comparable to Neighborhood Jam without the multi-hour wait. Will be back ASAP

It was good. The server (Matthew) was so darn sweet I swear I left with diabetes. I just wanted to box him up and take him with me. It was our first time and he was great at suggestions. We enjoyed our meal very much. Not being a fan of lots of spice, wesettled on the strawberry jam instead of the one with some heat. We were not disappointed. The sweet potato fries were good. Ididn't really care for them with ketchup. A buttered marshmallow drizzle and brown sugar would have been interesting as atopping to them. At least that's what I thought after trying the ketchup. But they were pretty good without it. The shake was sogood that I couldn't get the chance to take a picture of it before it was consumed half way. But it was beautiful. Promise. Wewill definitely go back here. Nice ambiance, good food, and a great staff. By the way... When I come back, I'll be expectingsome of that homemade pie- they ran out of the coconut cream before we got there and there's just no substitute for homemadecoconut cream pie.

Took the family today for the first time and all I can say is, incredible. From the friendly staff to the perfect portions, all was just incredible. Service was excellent, Mallory and staff took great care of us. Food and drinks came out promptly and hadgreat presentation despite being quite full. The 2 hour drive was definitely worth it.
