Sizzling hot fajitas! Attentive, friendly staff in a clean southwestern themed motif. Ask for their HOT salsa if you it spicy. Will most definitely be back when I'm in the Collinsville/Owasso area. Update: Still delicious, still a clean, friendly environment with great service! Love this place! View all feedback.
What luis sanchez doesn't like about El Fogon:
Food was ok, we had shrimp burrito which was served with beans and rice inside burrito with melted cheese on top. Seems the beans and rice took over the flavor of the shrimp so wasnt to impressed. View all feedback.
As tested for Yelp 5/1/2018 If in Oklahoma, this is the place to eat real Mexican food. The food is consistently fresh and excellent. I usually get her chicken/beef/shrimp fajita salad, and my husband and a friend usually have their fish tacos. With friendly and friendly staff and groundless homemade chips and salsa, what is not to like in this place? We had no bad meal/experience in El Fogon. Our cabin is about 25 miles away, but we come to eat at least 3 times a week. In the meantime, our friend who lives in OK has been coming here almost daily for many years. Lived place, but the waiting staff is so great what they do that the waiting is NOT really waiting. They treat their males like family. This place warms the heart!!
This place is amazing! The service was great, the presentation, everything tasted amazing!
The staff is wonderful! Where all the servers are your server, not just 1 person because they want to make sure your well taken care of and you are. I had The Black Bowl which isn't on the menu and has shrimp, chicken and beef I believe. It is spicey and definitely flavorful. I 100% recommend this but make sure you have the time because the mocejte is heated to a very high temperature so your food stays very hot but it is sooo yummy! I recommend ordering a side of rice to soak up some of the juices. I will order this again and again.
My family and I have been going to El Fogon for years and it is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Everytime I come back I make sure to stop in. It is a family run business and local. The homemade tortilla chips and salsa are incredible. They have a hot version and a mild version. I have never ordered anything I don't like, but the chicken fajita burrito is my favorite thing they make!
First time at El Fogon and I must say I was very impressed. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. I had the Green Verde (pork) burrito and had them put the rice and beans inside the burrito instead of on the side. It was so much food I could only eat half. The complimentary chips and salsa were also good. I couldn't stop eating them. There were so many items on the menu that looked delicious, so I'll be back for more.
