Catlins Cafe - Owaka

I had a delightful lunch here while traveling to Dunedin. The homemade tomato soup was delicious, and the eggs Benedict was beautifully presented. We were also pleased to find a tasty vegan breakfast option. The coffee was great, too! The service was efficient and friendly, even though the restaurant was busy. Thank you!

Never in my life have I been somewhere so truly kiwi. So down to earth and no frills but all good vibes, it felt like walking into a toasty home. Glenda gave such authentic and lovely service, will definitely stop in every time we pass through!

Little gem on the scenic drive, stopped in for a quick bite, ended up chatting to the staff who gave good suggestions, very friendly. The homemade pies were enormous and delicious. Well done!

We had to wait over an hour for our breakfast due to a mix up with our order, but the staff were very attentive, apologized several times, and even offered us free drinks and a dessert. This is surely not the norm. Thank you : Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5
