Agree with most reviews: this is not a cheap place, but the quality and the cooking of the food is exceptional. We started with a special, which was a real highlight: scrambled eggs with boletus and foie gras, freshly prepared and just perfect. As main courses, we had the leg of lamb (lechazo) and the ox tail. Very intense both of them, and vey filling, so no dessert for us... Unexpectedly, we were the only table alm... View all feedback.
This little gem off the beaten track specialises in local dishes rich in fish choices. Expertly cooked. The desserts are wonderful. The bar is well stocked with refreshments to suit all tastes. You will not be disappointed.
We were heading to El Gato Negro when we came across this fabulous restaurant. The menu grabbed us and the small, quiet venue was just perfect for our wedding anniversary. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Great service a stunning local Asturian food!
Stumbled on this small family run restaurant. Enjoyed the most exquisite rose tomato salad and a plate of grilled prawns followed by a very special apple tart. Not cheap but everything was impeccable a super restaurant

My family and I had one day to spend in Oviedo and we wanted to go someplace special. The receptionist at our hotel recommended Casa Laure, whose good reviews I had already seen on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. Everything we had was delicious the croquetas, the fabas and clams, the rice and clams, and the steak. To top it off, one of the best rice puddings (arroz con leche) I've had in 20 years in Spain. We ate outside at a table on the picturesque Plaza Trascorrales, which incurred a 10 percent surcharge on an already considerable bill, but the service was excellent. Highly recommended.
