I invited four of my American friends to Yafa Mediterranean cuisine today, November 10. We were there 12- 3 PM. Food was amazing. Two of the three friends have not tried Middle Eastern food before and they l love the food a lot . We came on a Friday at 8:15. 45 minutes before closing. There was plenty of open tables. We were asked if it was to go. I said no. And we were told they closed in 20 mins. So I asked if they close at 830 or 9. She said 9, but we really close earlier than that. Then we watched her completely turn another couple away around 830. One of the best , authentic Mediterranean food around the area. Everything tasted so fresh and made with love. Seems to be a family owned business where they take care of you like a family. We had curry and shawarma sandwich, both tasted excellent!! Can?t wait to go back.
Absolutely delicious! We ordered the shrimp appetizer, Yafa Combo, beef kabobs, and ice tea. Everything was perfect and so fresh. We?ll definitely come back! The service was fast and very friendly too!

First time eating at the restaurant. I can honestly say it?s the best Mediterranean food I?ve had in KC. We ordered the hummus appetizer. It was spectacular! My husband ordered the Yafa platter. He said the way the Gyro meat was presented was excellent. He got all the flavors of the meat, veggies and sauce in one bite. I ordered the vegetarian platter. I was skeptical because I typically I don?t care for grape leaves or baba ganoush. Both were amazing! The portions are huge. Neither of us could finish our meals. Plenty of on-site parking and clean bathrooms. This restaurant will be a part of our go places.
My new favorite Mediterranean Cafe. Friendly staff and delicious food in Sputh OP. Authentic flavors for all dishes. Hummus appetizer had real bold flavor. My falafel wrap was fresh and tasty. Go today and you won't be disappointed. Curb side and carry out too.
