Yafa Cafe - Overland Park

I love Yafa Cafe! I always get a falafel and hummus sandwich with lens soup. It is so delicious and more than enough food for you to have leftovers. I almost always save my soup for the next day. You could ask for more and I would still pay for it. In my opinion, underestimated. Very good food.

Yafa Cafe is a great mother and pop for vegans. My personal favorite is the vegetarian plate without spanakopita, extra falafel and one side of the lens soup. Wide range of vegan food (or easy to make vegan food) from salads to soups to sandwiches. They are happy to change their vegetarian options to be made vegan.

I recognized the bread as prefabricated bread that could not be vegan could not confirm. Falafel was amazing, and Hummus was exactly what I wanted. Service can be slow, so don't be annoyed if it takes some time for your order. It's worth it!

This restaurant is incredible. The food is authentic, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The staff is warm and attentive. I regret not trying the baklava. The hummus is outstanding and the saffron rice has a hint of cinnamon. The portions are very generous. Overall, a hidden gem.

I cannot speak highly enough of Yafa! The fact that I have visited 4 times in one month speaks for itself. They serve some of the best hummus I have ever tasted! Be sure to try the Yafa combo plate and the chicken shawarma sandwich! Although it is a small establishment, the service is excellent and it is family-owned. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable.
