Straight up BEST food I've had since moving to Kansas City! The food exploded with flavor, I cannot fully describe how phenomenal it was. The braised pork melted in your mouth, the eggplant was slightly sweet and savory. It's so difficult to describe how amazing it taste until you have it. This was paired with excellent service! The ladies were interactive, they refilled your water so stealth like that you wouldn't even know they were there. You didn't even need to ask for more rice because they intuitively KNEW to give you more. List of foods from the very best to great. 1. Braised Pork Belly 2. Eggplant with garlic sauce 3. Mapo Tofu 4. Fish in Sichuan chili Broth 5. Dry Hot Pot (beef) 6. Twice Fried Fish 7. Sauteed Green bean 8. Dan Dan Noodle Love this place! definitely am revisiting this again.
My fiance is from Jersey and has lamented the lack of what he feels is good food of many types, especially pizza and Asian cuisine. He read reviews of Sichuan Dynasty and we decided to make the 50 minute drive down to try it. Definitely worth it and we'll be back! Flavors are authentic, portion size is generous, and the service was very fast and courteous.

The most authentic Chinese food I have been to in Kansas City. I frequently visit here. Had beef noodle today. Pleasantly surprised again for the great flavor and the tenderness of beef stew. For all the dishes I’ve ordered so far, they have not disappoint.
We were at Sichuan Dynasty this afternoon and it was AMAZING!!! It’s the most authentic Chinese restaurant in the Kansas City metro area. Most Chinese in KC is so different, bland, and not all that great to me compared to NYC/NJ where I’m originally from, but this place is LEGIT! We had the Sichuan Spicy Wontons, Sichuan Asparagus, Dan-Dan Noodles, Chung King Spicy Chicken, and Jiao-Yan Crispy Shrimp. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. If you like spicy or not they have what you want. The wait staff was very prompt with bringing out the dishes hot and fresh and they were super polite. Definitely check this place out!
