Sawasdee Thai Cuisine - Overland Park

Quality has gone down, prices have gone up…I would rather go to Tuk Tuk Thai because TTK tastes more like thai food. some of the dishes at sawasdee don't taste right like the tom yum soup and drunken noodles

Great food and very friendly staff. If you get lucky, the owner/cook might play the piano for you. Lovely place.

We had gone to Sawasdee's a couple of times and loved it. However, the most recent time a man who claimed to be an owner ruined the experience. When I asked for the heat to be “not the hottest, and not the mildest, but the two dishes I ordered should be on different sides of medium” I received the two dishes that were both so spicy as to choke me. Had lunch here with a dear friend. Food was delicious, I loved the food. A nice environment that was actually quite romantic, even at lunch time: they had live flowers in small vases set at every table, and mellow smooth jazz music playing on a stereo system.
