Houlihan's - Overland Park

The food there is excellent and offers great value. They also have a selection of enjoyable cocktails.

The food was excellent, but we felt a bit overlooked during our visit. The restaurant was quite busy due to the holiday season, and it took a long time for us to be served or for anyone to check on us. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or just overwhelmed—perhaps it was a bit of both. I'm giving 4 stars for service because, when our drinks finally arrived, the server forgot the glasses, so we had to wait another 15 minutes for those.

Wow! We haven't experienced service or food like this in ages. Carly was fantastic—she smiled, laughed, and made it a fun experience while still being very professional. We will definitely be back!

Ordered the Chicken Chop Chop Salad. I took one bite of the chicken and one bite of the salad. Both were so spicy that I could not eat another bite. I love Houlihans and had not been for many years. I was really looking forward to eating there. Please put something in the salad description that says it is spicy. I am elderly and have liver issues and have to eat carefully. This won't keep me from visiting Houlihan's again, but it was very disappointing.

Stopped in. Happened to be happy hour. Got some apps. A few drinks and shared a soup and a salad. Perfect lunch on a busy day.
